Have you filed a NFA Form 1? Guess what, you are now a weapon manufacturer!
As part of your commitment you need to have your NFA item marked clearly with the following information:
- Manufacturer : Your name or the name of your Trust
- Model : If you filled this in on your Form 1 – it must be marked on the NFA item
- Cailber : If applicable – see your Form 1
- Serial Number : Since you are the manufacturer – you get to create your own.
- City & State : This is the physical location where you will be building the NFA item – also the same that’s noted on the Form 1. You can choose to use the 2 letter Postal Abbreviation for State or spell it out.
Finally – the marking must be 0.003 inches deep or greater and the text needs to be 1/16th of an inch or larger.
We use a 50Watt Fiber laser with a 110 Lense to engrave your NFA item with a crystal clear, perfect marking. We can choose the best area to engrave and apply borders or other engraving based on the order.
